Jaws has found his DREAM HOME!!!

So here's the sad part of the story, are you ready? Jaws had a very interested adopter that was approved to adopt and was doing responsible research on the little guy by calling a vet for an opinion on adopting him. The vet basically called little Jaws a LEMON!!! It worried her so much she walked away from adopting the little guy. She even had a heated bed for him!

So here's the great great wonderful news! Fate will have it that he found the home that he was meant to be in! All things happen for a reason, but as our family has learned sharing time and caring for Jaws... he really thinks he's a big dog and does not act like a chihuahua (other than the chihuahua shiver :). He would have felt out of place in the first home of little chi's... instead he is in HEAVEN!

Jaws has 2 American Indian Dogs to play and wrestle with all day! When he first entered the home, it took him about a 1/2 of a second to see the chair that was set up for him complete with a bed, toy and blanket to keep him warm! He also has a big backyard that he immediately investigated ever inch of and then came back in with the big dogs to watch football with his new dad! I'm telling you, he is one cool dude! oh yeah, and his new dad is a chef and plans on handmaking him healthy dog treats. Now that is a rough new life.

As for his new mom, he is in love! She has tons of energy and goes for crazy long hikes and runs to wear out her other two dogs. Funny thing is, Jaws already has her wrapped around his little paw because he scored a doggy backpack so he can hitch a ride and not over exert himself!

His new family has committed to his physical therapy and is working towards the best outcome from the surgery. There is not a doubt in the world that should this little guy with an underbite, who has been through so much, not use that leg 100% correctly, that his new family will love him just as he is. He already has a little snuggle spot on their bed at night to stay night and toasty warm.
Jaws, we are all so happy for you, especially little Lukas who shared his bed every night with Jaws to keep him warm for many weeks.
